Durkin and Sons Ltd are very pleased to announce their appointment to a four-year framework contract for asset replacement activities. Planned and remedial work at all voltages up to and including 33kV on an exclusive basis, for a valued major DNO client, over their complete South East England footprint.

Area entrusted to Durkin and Sons
This vital Power engineering contract has been entrusted to Durkin in an area stretching from the New Forest to Bognor Regis in the East of England and almost up to the M25.
Activities within the framework include
- LV Link box replacements
- Low voltage mains overlays
- HV Underground cable overlays at both 11 kV and 33kV
- Reactive HV and LV cable fault repairs and a range of reinstatement functions
- New connections
Durkin and Sons Ltd are proud to support our long-term client in their drive to invest in
network assets, Action that results in a reliable and consistently performing distribution
network. By targeting capital investment, customers can continue to experience reliable
energy supplies in the South Eastern region, because of these grass roots activities.
Proposals have been prioritised to focus investment in areas where network performance
parameters can be improved with an eye to the future network operating parameters.
Resourcing
We have initially committed 10 plus of our directly employed teams to the contract, as well
as directly employed engineering and design staff supported by a dedicated admin team.
